Can I keep the 7d mark II live view on?

In movie mode, is there a way to prevent live view from turning off by itself? I use a ninja blade to capture a clean feed from hdmi. But unless I also record on a card, I can't keep the hdmi signal on for a long time.

Many DSLRs can perform double duty as a camcorder, not as a video camera.

The camera turns live view off to prevent overheating and save battery.
