I had this same dilemma when I bought my 7D. I was in between that and the 5Dmkii, and chose the 7D because I shoot mainly wildlife and events, where the benefit of the 8 fps shutter is warranted. Haven't looked back since making that decision, and now looking at adding the 6D to the entourage. As others have said, entirely depends on what subject matter you'll be shooting.
