My 5D m2 is acting really strangely again. It seems to go through phases of being OK and then acting up on me. I thought I was investing in a professional grade camera but it keeps letting me down.
The problem is this:
I switch the camera on and I cannot push any of the left buttons at all. They do nothing. I can still take images, but cannot see them as I cannot press the review button. I enter live view mode and I cannot press the "set button" to activate video recording.
This sometimes resolves itself when I take out the memory card, but not always. Its really frustrating. Ive tried to downgrade the firmware, upgrade the firmware. Nothing works.
Ive seen others post about this problem but no one could give an answer. At the moment the camera is worthless and yet it has a very high sentimental value with me as I waited years to get it.
Please help me

Just wanted to add, the screen is black at times and wont switch on at all when this happens. I can still take images, but not with live view and certainly no videos.
