sandisk extreme 16gb 45MB unable to be recognized in t4i anymore.

Was working fine until I filled the card.  Camera doesn't recognize it any longer.  anyone else experience a problem with SD card or could it be firmware?  Im new so unsure of many questions.  Both camera and SD was purchased less than 1 month ago.

thanks

Download all photos into computer, then put the card back in the camera and perform Low Level Format. It should be ok. If not, the card may be defective.

Re: sandisk extreme 16gb 45MB unable to be recognized in t4i anymore.

Be careful when transferring files to not format on your computer. Always in camera. Sometimes it changes the file system from fat32 to something else that the camera can't read, effectively making it useless. Check the file system of the card on your computer, reformat as fat32, and you should be good to go. From that point on, reformat in camera only. Otherwise you might have a bad card.
