hi ive had my rebel t5 for a few months and i have only used it once. It has not been dropped or damaged. It wont turn on or do anything. How do i fix it?

Eject the battery and fully charge it with the supplied Canon charger.
Make sure memory card door is closed and has a good fit.
Insert the charged battery, close the battery compartment door and make sure that has a good fit.
Power on the camera.
It should power up for you.
There are two micro-switches... if the switches are not engaged then the camera will not power up. One is the in the door frame of the battery door, the other in the door frame of the memory slot door. There's a tab on each door which engages the switch. Make sure the tab isn't damaged (but if you've never dropped it, then there is no reason why it should be damaged.)
If none of this works, contact Canon and arrange for repair. If this is within 1 year of purchase then it should be covered under warranty.
