It should work with any EF lens, but there is always a chance for compatibility issues with third party lenses.

It should work just fine.  Be aware that it is a fully manual lens.  It will not auto focus.  It will not auto aperture.  You will need to use the camera in Av or M modes.  None of the Basic, or other Crelative modes will work as expected.  Using Live View will help.  Knowing your depth of field at different apertures and focusing distances would really help.  A tripod would help, too.

Do not let me scare you off.  Buying the lens can teach you a lot about photography, although I think the EF 35mm f/2 IS USM would be a better buy, if you want that focal length.  I have a 14mm lens, which has a short hyperfocal distance.  Because it has a very wide angle, I can set the focus once, and everything beyond a few feet is in perfect focus.  No need to re-adjust, but i do need to check to make sure I have not bumped the focus ring.
