Rebel T7i will not focus or shoot in high humidity, shoots fine when dry

Pressing shutter button. Right now humidity is not crazy high, only 61% and I was able to use my cell phone to capture video of what is happening. I tried automatic settings, scene intelligent and manual. In the video I caught a lot of shutter button pressing with no photo and a few times that the shutter did fire.

Video is more like now it doesn’t work and oh, wow, it worked, and then it doesn’t.
