Rebel T6 Not Connecting to Computer

dcastro27

Good afternoon!

Recently purchased the Canon Rebel T6 a week ago. Downloaded all the newest software took my pictures and uploaded to utility no problem. Now another week goes by I go to upload to computer via cord and it will not sync, "saying connect to computer, and correct settings for the we service with EOS software." I uninstalled the software and reinstalled and still nothing. Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you!

Hi Dcastro27,

Thanks for posting.

If the camera cannot be connected to a computer, it may be because  [Wi-Fi/NFC] is set to [Enable].  If [Wi-Fi/NFC] is set to [Enable] under the camera’s [ ] tab, the camera cannot connect to a computer.  Set [Wi-Fi/NFC] to [Disable], then connect the interface cable.
