Rebel T1i won't record in video mode

Records for a few seconds and then tells me to make sure lens is connected before use the same message that pops up when you start recording. Any solutions

Hi Chrissperling, Try cleaning the lens contacts on the camera and your lens. We recommend the use of a clean, dry lint-free cloth. You'll want to use very little pressure and you'll want to ensure that no dust or other debris enters your camera. If you still encounter this or any other error message, please contact us.
