Problem with Rebel 3 and Mac Book Pro

Reggiesmom

I installed the utilities for my camera on my Mac Book Pro with the disc included with my camera.  Now when I try to use the EOS utiliity I get a message that it cannot be used with this operating system.  My Mac Book Pro is operating system 10.10.3.  I tried installing the driver from the site but it would not work.  Does anyone know if there is a way to set it up with my MAC?

I know that Yosemite made some security changes that caused problems with a number of programs and accessories.

I can only assume Canon is working on an update.

You can see if the fix in this Youtube video works.

How to make Canon EOS Utility work on Yosemite OSX

If it does work please leave feedback to that effect in order to help others with the problem in the future.

Thanks for your help. The you tube video gave me perfect instructions!

The March 31 version that can be downloaded from 1D Matk IV support site works fine for me.
