Problem after intervalometer use

dror0

I have canon 700d (t5i) I tried to shooting with intervalometer integrated in battery grip. The camera didn't fire, I don't know why?
The problem is that now after I removed the intervalometer grip and inserted the battery to the camera, it firing by itself every time I turn it on or changing mode, also I can't shoot by pressing the shutter button. It focuses but not shooting.

Anyone know how to fix this?

All the best,
Dror

Try removing battery, switch camera on and let it sit overnight. That should wipe out anything in memory and make it fresh out of the box configuration.

What brand was grip?
