I have a Canon EOS Rebel DS6041 camera. I do not have an install disc for downloading pictures?

Where can I get a driver to download pictures from camera to PC?

You can also buy an external card reader for your computer and put the camera's memory card in the reader to copy the images.

I do this with my cameras mostly because the locally attached card reader can transfer images faster than the USB connection.

There are no drivers availible and none are needed for Windoze to see the camera.  You do, indeed, need to set the camera to the correct setting which is PTP, Picture Transfer Protocol.

EOS 1DX and 1D Mk IV and less lenses then before!

Thank you ebiggs1.  I will try it.

Tim,

I do have a card reader and found that solution before learning that there is a setting on the camer(PTP) which I have yet to try.  Thank you. TKlein559
