Can the Rebel sl1 be set to use only the center focus point?

I've never used one, but I'm sure you can.  Judging by the images I found on a Google search you're looking for the button on the upper right of the back display, it looks like a rectangle with a plus sign in it.  That'll allow you to select your focus points.
