No sound in video recording

Hi, I am not getting sound in video recoding on my Canon EOS Rebel T5i which I was getting earlier. I've tried resetting the camera to factory settings but nothing is working. Please help!

I assume the Canon 70 will only record in mono when making a video, or can I record stereo? If the latter, what microphone would work. Thanks,Robert
