That's a great video and a cautionary lesson about the myth of cameras being waterproof. "Weather sealed" does not mean waterproof, despite may people's expectations. Weather is such things as wind-blown dust and perhaps light rain, but not being absolutely soaked or immersed in water - that is the space for a 'Tough Camera" that is fully sealed and has an under water rating.
Also, the amount of weather sealing can be completely degraded by putting on a non-sealed lens. The biggest hole for ingress of water is the lens mount, so having a sealed lens is absolutely critical.

Canon also says a "weather-sealed" lens must have a filter mounted to be weather-sealed. There's no weather-sealing around the front lens element.

So do I. Those who don't believe in protective filters, because they say a hood protects the lens just fine, are nuts.
