When you take a photo on the Canon m50 camera, the screen freezes for a moment. Is this normal or do I need to make a setting?

Greetings,
Our first question would be what brand, model and type of storage media are you using? The media should be rated and compatible with your device.
Next, please tell us about your camera set up. Lens or lenses you are experiencing the behavior with. Firmware loaded on camera? Are you using accessories such as a flash?
Have you tried resetting the camera and retesting?

Hello, I am using Sandisk 128 GB Extreme Pro, I reset the machine as storage but nothing changed and I am using a 15 45 kit lens and I do not use flash.

You are probably seeing a brief review of the image you just captured, turn this setting to off to prevent this review. It is in the red camera tab under menu.

I turned off that feature and after taking a photo, there is only a freeze of less than 1 second.

Do you save files in RAW or JPG file format? I use RAW for all my cameras and I turn off the lens correction in camera and apply it in post so if you have that on it may be what is slowing down processing.
I don't have a M50, the only M series I have is a M6 Mark II that I use for casual travel but shooting in RAW there is no delay between capturing images. It isn't as responsive as my 1DX III bodies in burst mode but it will capture images as quickly as I can press the shutter release.

I shoot in raw and lens corrections are turned off.
