The reduce button turns the LCD monitor blank whats wrong!?

Hi everyone,

This is my first post/cry for help on here. I have recently purchased a second hand 1d Mkiv, when i view a shot on the LCD Monitor I can magnify it,but when I try to reduce it using the appropriate button the LCD just goes blank!  this never happened with my old 7d, is this normal on the 1d Mkiv or do I have to go into settings to correct it. if so a little help would be ever so welcome.

Hi everyone,

In ref to my last post, I seem to have sorted the problem out.

Went into custom functions C.Fn IV (2) AF-ON/AF Lock button switch and reset to 0: Disable, bingo working Ok now.

Hope this helps anyone else in the same predicament.
