Shooting School Proms, Discos, Balls with R7

Hi all,

I'm hoping to dabble in a bit of event photography. Luckily for me I work at a high school and have ample opportunity to practice at discos, prize giving, etc.

I currently own the R7 and the sigma 18-50 f/2.8. For the seasoned event photographers among you, what other lenses or flash combos might I need? I understand having a FF body might be better in low-light etc, but I can't really justify spending that sort of cash.

You may want to check the RF70-200 f2.8 for those scenarios where you can not get close enough to the subject.
