I have a canon r6 camera and had an SD card go bad with about 90 videos on it. I was able to recover files with photorec_win.exe however it seems to have split the videos into two files.
There are 90 mp4 files that are all 128k in size. These seem to have the header data
There are another 90 files that end in _mdat.mov that seem to have the video/audio data.
Does anyone know a way to recover from this? Is there a better tool? Is there some way to get things back together?

Have you done this? https://www.cgsecurity.org/testdisk_doc/photorec_video.html

Peter,
Thanks for the response.
I tried following the instructions at your recommendation. I did not get the expected results. instead of seeing the names alternates between _ftyp.mov and _mdat.mov I see files of of type mp4 and _mdat.mov also they do not alternate there are a group of mp4 files and then a group of mov files. I don't see a way to figure out which goes with which.
Thanks

Are you able to share the files? What is the total file size? Can you share a pair?

The problem is I cannot pair them there are about 90 of each and no indication as to which pairs with which.
