R6 Mark II - can't change drive mode to H+

HI All,

I got a new R6 Mark II last week. I set it up this weekend and I'm finding that H+ drive mode is greyed out and I can't enable it.

I have a an R6 as well, on which I can use H+ just fine. I have the cameras set identically, and have tried the same lenses, batteries and SD cards, all of which work fine on the R6 but not the Mark II. I checked the manual section starting on page 542 and I'm following all of those instructions correctly.

Anyone have any ideas? This is my first post here, so I'm not sure if this forum is monitored by actually Canon support who can provide help, but any guidance would be most appreciated.

Thanks for the info! I ended up resetting the camera and it's now working as expected. I'm not sure if I enabled some function that prevented it, but I definitely didn't do it intentionally.

Anyway, glad it's sorted now. Perhaps I'll give them a call just to see what might have happened.

Not routinely monitored directly by Canon technical support. Sometimes a Product Expert will post. Best bet is give Canon a call at 1-800-OK-CANON.
