Hello,
I bought camera on 7th August 2024 it been less then 15 days and camera gave me overheating shutting down error with canon battery. I tried with 3rd party battery it's working fine.
Canon need to resolve issue via Update fix or need to give battery replacement

I've never had a battery cause and over heating issue.
What were you doing when the overheating message displayed. Please be specific. Shooting mode? Video or still photography? Etc.

Hello,
I was just transferring my data it's was connected to my phone via Wifi my battery got drain out so I re insert the original canon battery I got Error Message " Overheated Shutting Down". After few hours also same issue.
It seems to be battery issue or need a firmware fix.

Only Still Photography No Videography
