Need help with Rebel t6i and Marrex MX-G10M GPS unit. Can't seem to get it to work.

I've purchased a Marrex MX-G10M GPS unit to connect to my Rebel T6i.  I can't seem to get it to work and I can't find any instructions to help me out.  Several web sites say that it is compatible, but I'm not 100% sure it is.  Can someone help me with this or have experience with this.

I suggest that you seek help from the manufacturer, Marrex.  You will not get much help for another vendor's product here.

[EDIT] 

I am not certain if that device is compatible with a T6i.  It is only advertised for use with T2i, T3i, T4i, and T5i cameras, not the T6i.
