Hey everyone! So my wonderful Canon 6d is having issues. Everytime I take a picture a black bar appears sideways on it. Can anyone tell me what this is and how to fix it? I tried doing the sensor cleaning that you can select in the camera, but nothing!
I appreciate any help you may have. Thanks!

Could be a sticky shutter. Better have Canon look at it.

This just happened to me today during a photo shoot. Would love any advice. I'll be checking with Canon too.
Thanks!

Bad shutter, which is not a user repair. Let the Canon professionals repair it.
What happens in Live View? Can you see anything prior to taking a shot?

Ditto the faulty shutter. It needs Canon service.

I have the exact issue but with an old Rebel XTi. Did you find out what the solution was or have it repaired by Canon?

Canon no longer services the XTi. You need a private shop like Midwest Camera Repair.
