Hello! I have a Canon EOS Rebel T7 DSLR. I just bought a sandisk card to go with it & I was outside taking pictures in Scene Intelligence Auto & I went back to transfer pictures from my camera to my iphone & not one of my photos are loading. It even says on my camera that i have no images but it shows that i have photos on my SD card. What do i do? How do i fix this?

Kapture82,
You can format a card multiple times, but as Demetrius says, when you format it, you do lose all data on the card, inlcuding pictures.
In your opening post, you said that you had just bought a new SD card. Whenever you buy a new card, the first thing you have to do is format it. As Demetrius said, that sets up your file and folder structure so that the camera knows where to place images on the card.

Is this a Full Sized SD Card? What size is the capacity of the card? How are you pulling the pictures off. Are you using a USB cable connected to the camera. Or are you using a USB SD Card reader?

Yes it's a full size SD card & it is a 64 GB. I have the canon camera connect app on my phone & i have it set up with my camera.

"It even says on my camera that i have no images but it shows that i have photos on my SD card."
Can you explain this better? You can take pictures of the LCD see\reen with your phone and attach them here to show us.

Kapture82,
At first glance, it seems more like a problem with the Canon Connect app than it does with your camera or phone.
Do you have a computer at home and a USB cable that you can connect your computer and camera together?
If so, you can connect them and your computer will read your camera as a device, and it will show up in your file explorer. If you look at the folders, you will see if your pictures show up.
Alternatively, you can do as Demetrius suggested, and get a card reader. (They are pretty cheap). Pop the card out of your camera, put it in the reader, and plug the reader into a USB port on the computer. The computer will recognize the reader as a device.
P.S. Did you format your card in the camera before you started using it?

I have a T7 and started with a card reader then went to the USB cable. By accident, I discovered a card slot in the side of my laptop. Now I insert the card and follow the instructions. I only use ScanDisk cards, 32-64GB.

I did not format my card which i am thinking now might be the problem. Is it possible to still format the card even though i have already taken some pictures? I am a first time Canon Camera owner so i am very new to all of this.

If you format the card that wipes the card clean. The pictures will NOT be recoverable.

I just tried the format but It's still showing that i have pictures on the SD card.

The file size is too small to be pictures. What you’re seeing is the file system the camera created for the SD Card.
