I have downloaded the software, tried all the suggestions and cant get my new rebel to load onto my mac either with the USB cord or to hook to the wifi. I tried iphoto as well as photocapture. I went into system preferences and followed those directions. NOTHING. feeling frustrated and ready to return the camera.
Help please

I don't know if they are open today, July 4, but try to call Canon Support at 1-800-OK-CANON.

Try going into Applications folder and select Image Capture.
Be sure WiFi is turned off on camera if you are connecting via USB.

Now there's a case where Canon's US and UK support groups might want to work out a treadoff. The Brits could cover for the Americans on the 4th of July (definitely not a holiday in the UK!), while the Americans could handle the anniversary of BREXIT.
