I have a Canon Digital Rebel DS6041 and the lense has locked and will not move for focus.

Someone tried to take a photo and pushed a wrong button. Now my lense is stuck and will not move in and out for focus. I'm out of country on vacation and do not have my manual as this is the first time I have ever had a problem with this camera.  HELP!!

Is the switch on the lens set to af?

The lens will not telescope either in the AF or M position.  It is extended and will not retract.

Can you manually focus the lens?

No.  I cannot manually focus as the lens remains in the telephoto position, and will only focus on distant objects.  I have been looking for an on-line manual for this camera.
