I have a Canon 550D ( T2i ) when on auto mode my pictures come out dark. I'm using three different lens and all are the same dark. I have an 18-55, 28-125 and a 70-300. Have to go to manual mode and play with F-stop and shutter speed. There are times when I would Just like to use auto mode but it's like the color depth gets too dark no matter what setting on the lens. I have stabilizer on and AF setting on with all lens. Pictures I'm taking are outside and without flash.

What time of day are you shooting? Do you have Auto Exposure Bracketing enabled?

It does appear that your flash fired. Be aware that the onboard flash has a VERY limited range, not much more than 10 feet.
It does appear that you have Auto Exposure Braketing enabled. If you do not know what that is, then you should refer to your instruction manual, but I will summarize it here. You can tell the camera to automatically take 3 exposures in sequence, [bracketing], with each exposure being normal, over, and under exposed.
Auto Exposure Bracketing isn't normally used with a flash. In fact, the camera probably shouldn't even let you use both at the same time. I am not certain if the T2i has it built-in, but there is a separate adjustment for Flash Exposure Bracketing when you use certain external Speedlite flash units.. Regardless, bracketing is normally set to be cancelled when you turn off the camera.
