Hi All

I’m looking for a way to upload photos from a Cannon dslr with WiFi or Bluetooth directly in real time into Apple’s photo app on a iPad/iPhone.

Thank you

Thanks for joining the conversation, Gums!

So that the Community can help you better, we need to know exactly which Canon camera model you're using. That, and any other details you'd like to give will help the Community better understand your issue!

If this is a time-sensitive matter, click HERE search our knowledge base or find additional support options HERE.

Thanks and have a great day!

Hi Danny

I have not purchased the camera it will be either a dslr or mirrorless type that can support a macro lens. I’m also trying to figure out which camera will allow the direct transfer of photos to Apple’s photo app.

Thank you

Greetings,

I suggest you go with a mirrorless camera.  DSLRs and EF lenses are nearing end of life.  Lens selection is becoming more and more limited. There is absolutely no new development in this platform.

I don't believe any of Canon's products will upload to Apple photos natively.

Take a look at

We're happy to help with your purchase decision, and can answer any questions you may have.  Things that will be helpful for us are knowing what type of photography you do most.  Wildlife, landscapes, portraiture, etc.  Last of course is your budget.

Hi Danny

I'm a dentist. The photography I’m doing is intra-oral using a macro lense with a ring flash. The camera I would like would be something with the highest quality and simple to use as I’m not a professional photographer.

Gums,

One option might be to use Canon's Camera Connect app.

Here's an explanation of how it works and what cameras are compatible.

I do not know if you can load your photos into Apple's photo app, but I think you can pick and choose what folder your photos upload to.
