My apologies for tellling you how to use DPP to convert it, instead the Adobe software which you didn't ask about..

No worries there. This forum is to help people. Sharing knowledge is what is important and not showing pride because you have more knowledge. Thankyou

If you need to be able to do it in Windows, try DPP Version 3, rather than Version 4. (Both versions are kept up to date and are available on the Canon site.) The V4 documentation indicates that only the Mark III edition of the 1Ds is compatible, but the V3 documentation seems to say that V3 supports any of the 1D series.

You are certainly welcome. I am glad you got it to work.  If I get my old paper weight 1D out anytime I will know how to handle its files.

You would think!   But some people seem more concerned with dissing others.

Ain't that the truth.  Some of us do not tolerate from others, not at all.  Unfortunately, you're too much of a snob to realize just how condescending and insulting you are.  Above is textbook example of it.

Sorry I don't have time to waste on your stupid comments anymore

Hi recently bought the G9X , didn't come with software disc and I'm shooting RAW. Been on Canon website and entered serial number of the camera to download the conversion software, when it's download and I try to open it the computer says there is no programming to support it.  Any ideas please ? Regards Smiffy.

You d/l DPP4?  It should work if you got the correct one for your OS.  Are you Mac or Windoze?  Mac seems to have this problem form time to time.  Make sure you got the correct version for your OS.
