Hello,
To check the shutter count on your Canon Rebel T6 (also known as EOS 1300D), you can use several methods. The shutter count indicates how many photos the camera has taken and is helpful for understanding the camera's usage.
Method 1: Use Software
Canon EOS Utility (Official Software)
Connect your camera to your computer via USB.
Open Canon's EOS Utility (download from Canon's website if not already installed).
Unfortunately, EOS Utility itself does not display shutter count, but it can help connect your camera to third-party software.
Third-Party Software
ShutterCheck (Mac): Specifically designed for Canon cameras.
EOS Inspector (Mac): Provides shutter count and other details.
EOS Info (Windows): A simple tool for Canon users.
Magic Lantern (Custom Firmware): If you’re tech-savvy, you can install Magic Lantern firmware to access the shutter count. However, this is more complex and carries some risk.
Online Tools
Use online services like Camera Shutter Count by uploading an unedited JPEG image taken with your camera. These services analyze the EXIF data to estimate the shutter count.
Method 2: Visit a Service Center
If you're unable to retrieve the shutter count using software, a Canon service center can provide this information. They have access to specialized tools for extracting detailed camera data.

Greetings ,

To obtain accurate shutter count, the camera needs to go to a Canon service center.

Also, depending on where you live many authorized Canon retailers can provide the service. They will have the ability especially if they take in used gear for resale.

ProCam in the Midwest offers their customers a view, I just had a peak at my 5D MkIV.
