Focus bracketing on R5 is not competitive

I love my R5 and I am happy that Canon added focus bracketing. I would be happier if Canon's focus bracketing was competitive with their competitor's offerings. Since Canon does not offer a suggestions forum, I am posting this here. What Canon's focus bracketing is missing is:

1) A way to stop shooting automatically. This could be the option to stop when no area of the frame is in focus or the option to focus on the most distant point that should be in focus and stop when that distance has been reached.

2) The option to set a delay between exposures to allow strobes to recycle.

I hope to see  this in a firmware  update but I am not optimistic.

I was trying to take a set of focus bracketed images this morning but ran into a problem with setting the exposure. With focus bracketing disabled, the exposure settings were ISO 100, f/9, 4 secs. When I enabled focus bracketing the shutter speed immediately changed to 5 secs but the LCD panel was black and the histogram indicated that the image was seriously underexposed... nor would the camera let me lengthen the exposure time, although it would let me adjust the exposure by opening up the aperture.

My understanding is that focus bracketing uses electronic shutter mode and the maximum shutter speed with the electronic shutter is 1/2 second (per page 917 of the R5 manual).
