Hello everyone,

Ijust tried my new canon camera today that I bought 2 months ago on video mode but I realized that it won't shoot video no matter what I do. Does anyone know what the problem might be?

I am using a 64 GB SD card with fast speed 10.

I do not think that is what kvbarkley asked.

What position is the power switch set to?

Right. He wanted you to not use video mode. He wanted to test just the button.

The button work well when I shoot photos, the problem is only with video.

Are you using a full size SD card or a micro SD card with an adapter? Have you formatted the card in the camera and set the calendar and clock?

Yes, I am using a full size SD card. When I brought my camera I inserted the SD card and set the calendar and the clock but I didn't format the SD card it is already empty and a new one.

You should always format a new card or old card in the camera first, try formatting it and then see how it works
