I am running Windows 10 and I upgraded to an 8/16 core I7 with a new mother board. The EOS utility still works properly for my other Canon cameras (60d, 5DMIV, 6DMII) as it did before the upgrade, but it no longer launches the EOS Utility when I attach my EOS R using a USB cable.
If I manually launch the EOS utitily, the download and attach buttons are grayed out and I can only access the preferences. Windows sees the camera and it is listed as an EOS R. I have upgraded the EOS utility and even removed the Utility and reinstalled it with no luck.
I have also tried the camera on the various types of USB ports (2.0, 3.1, 3.2 and C) with no success.
Any thoughs would be appreciated.
