EOS Rebel XSi Some settings don't work or are listed wrong.

I have an old canon rebel xsi. The settings are all wrong. Auto comes up as A-DEP. when I scroll to P it switches to M. Whereas three of the settings come up as P. Wondering if there is a fix or if anyone else has had this problem.

Sounds like the Mode dial is not lining up with the mode. I don't think it would be worth it to have Canon fix it.

Does this one have the little metal plate on the mode dial? It could have rotated.

I personally would just live with it.

Doing the normal things like a full re-set, new battery, new SD card is all you can do.  If that doesn't do the trick, I think it is done.
