EOS R6 Mark II - Shutter Button not working

I’ve bought my Canon R6 Mark II about five months ago and have been loving it. Unfortunately about 1 month ago the shutter button stopped responding so I sent the camera to Canon for repair via the camera store I purchased it from.  I got it back last week, got to take pictures at my kids flag football tournament over last weekend however today the same issues started again with the shutter button.  I’ve had my camera back for a week and it’s off to get serviced again so I’m left thinking I have a lemon in hand…. So no choice but to see what the repair center says/does this time however what I’m interested in is knowing what they did/found last time as the details were pretty vague.  All it said was repaired under warranty free of charge.  If I registered my camera is there somewhere that I can access more detailed information concerning the repair work done like replaced shutter button, etc…. And yes the camera settings were factory reset including customized buttons, etc… by myself and the employees at the camera store.

Is that camera store a factory authorized dealer?  Did you register the camera with Canon when you first purchased it?

Yes my camera store is an authorized dealer and I did register my equipment upon purchasing it.

Sorry to hear about your experience. I suggest that you contact Canon directly.
