I have just registered with image.canon on both of my bodies, a R5 and R3.
I've installed the latest FW on both.
I've managed to upload images from both bodies, however, I'm not sure that the system is working as it should.
After restarting a few times, I get the bodies to upload images, however, after a few seconds of the image upload being complete, the WiFi goes to "off". I then take some more images with the camera and they do not upload as the wifi remains "off". I then fiddle about a bit, turn on and off a few times, and the wifi comes back on and they upload and repeat the cycle.
This is the same for the R5 and the R3, and I have tried a few different networks (2 phones and home network) and its the same on all three networks.
I've read the image.canon instructions quite a few times, and it says that if auto upload is enabled then they should be uploaded automatically, however, as the wifi is "off" (solid white with off next to symbol), then they are not automatically being uploaded without my action.
Is there something I'm not getting, because it must be the system design as it's the same behaviour on both bodies.
With the WiFi going off after uploaded it's not usable for me, Is there something I'm not getting?
Thanks for any advice in advance.

Hi nbarton,
Thanks for checking in.
It may help if you upload images at the end of the shoot rather than intermittently throughout the day. You may need to turn the camera off and on and then reestablish a wireless connection to do a new transfer.
You can check your computer or mobile devices to see if they are still connected to the camera as a wireless network or if they are switching to other Wi-Fi connections automatically. If they are, then you may wish to turn off the auto-connect settings for applicable networks.
Another option is to connect to our CameraConnect on your mobile device, transfer images to your smartphone with that connection, and then upload images to image.canon or to other file sharing platforms like Dropbox or Google Drive from your smartphone.
