EOS M50 Mark II won't connect to iMac

Unable to connect EOS M50 Mark11 via canon cable to Imac with Ventura 13-5-2.

I've tried everything including rebooting, changing usb port etc

Known issue with EOSU 3.17 and Ventura. Try installing EOSU 3.16.1. That solved my connection problem with my 1D X Mark III.

Do you have Wi-Fi enabled in the camera? It must be disabled to use the USB cable. Also, don't use a USB hub, connect the USB cable directly to the computer.

I tried disabling wifi and blue T on camera and still Utility 3 is grey.

and try a new cable.

run image capture manually with the camera plugged in.

Ill get a new cable. 

However Image Capture - sometimes ok sometimes not ok

but EOS Utility 3 never functioning
