I'am confused about how to find shutter count. On my 90D under Battery info a shutter count number comes up. It is 35. Now if I pick a jpeg I'am told the last for digits ( when you press info) it says 5393! Can one explain.

You cannot determine shutter count on a Canon camera. Only Canon has the software to pull it for you.

What does this mean?

How many pictures you have taken with that battery. The number will reset when the battery is taken out and recharged.

Thank you - Why would that be important?

How many shots before you completely deplete the battery.

" It is 35. Now if I pick a jpeg I'am told the last for digits ( when you press info) it says 5393!"
Both are basically meaningless. As stated above only Canon can give you the accurate count. The battery count isn't accurate because it doesn't know how much time you spend chimping for instance. You could get only 32 clicks if you chimp long enough. Video shooting. Other factors will effect this also.
As to the file name and last four digits the 90D numbers each new image in sequence from 0001 to 9999. Again not an accurate way to get shutter count.

What is the most accurate way to get the count? What site do you think works the best?

No site or program works. Only Canon can get you the shutter count.

"What is the most accurate way to get the count?"
Send the camera in to Canon and they will run diagnostics -- along with your credit card.
I would spend more time in the field enjoying the hobby and learning to be a better photographer than wasting time and money on a meaningless metric for a DSLR. YMMV.
Hopefully this thread doesn't drag on for weeks or result in hundreds of meaningless replies.
