EOS 6D Mark II Trying to figure out how to access Ambiance in SCN Mode

Skip70
Enthusiast

I have looked at pages 84 & 85 several times and followed it closely, but I cannot get the Ambiance option to show up when in SCN Mode. (Ambiance is things like Vivid, Warm, etc.)

I get to the screen that should allow me to toggle to Ambiance but it does not show as an option.

What am I doing wrong?

(I'm new to this forum so not sure how to attach a photo. I've tried to send one of the SCN LCD screen but it does not allow me to Upload)

Thanks.

In looking in the User Manual (pages 100 to 101), you'd need to be in CA mode (Creative Auto) in order to work with Ambiance settings.

Thanks for joining the conversation, Skip70!

6D Mark II.  Yes, I'd like to add a photo to the post but it does not allow me to upload one. I have reduced the photo file size to 600kb, so it is not likely an issue with the size. Help?

Duh, thanks. I had downloaded the 6D manual, not the 6D Mark II.
