Hi all
I have just purchased a Canon EOS 250d and am just starting my photography journey.
I have a babyshower of a friend coming up where I would like to take pictures. this party will be inside.
What settings do you guys recommend?
Thanks!!

There many different things that could impact your pictures. The lens being used the ambient lighting and if the built in flash is being used of not. There is no hard rule that you have to use certain settings. If you're a beginner I would start out with the camera in P Mode with the ISO set to Auto. Before the party starts I would read the manual and learn how to use all of your camera's specific controls. Instead of not knowing how to use your camera. EOS 250D Manual

dp01,I think Demetrius has some pretty good advice. If there is any light coming into the room at all and it's daytime, cameras these days handle high ISO numbers pretty well. You probably won't need to use your flash at all.Since you are just starting out, and time is short, leave your camera in P Mode, and let the camera decide what settings to use.
