I am going to purchase canon items in 2 weeks and I would like to know if Canon offers and rebates and if so, where are they listed?

Do you have to purchase the items from Canon or from an authorized dealer?

Purchasing from Canon or an authorized dealer is always a good idea. 

Check out canonpricewatch.com, they will notify you when an item you are looking for is available from Canon USA refurbished (usually the best deal), or the best price from other authorized dealers.
