Hi all,
I'm a hobby shooter, mostly nature and landscape shots out in the PNW where I live. Currently using a Panasonic M43 camera which has been great for me, but I'm starting to bump into some of the limitations with the format (DoF, low light/high ISO DR) and thinking it might be time to try stepping up to FF.
I recently found an EOS R kit with the 24-105mm f/4L lens on clearance for $990 which seems like a great deal for both the camera and lens, which separately still go for about that much each. Does this seem like it could be a good option for me? I'm trying to keep the kit relatively lightweight and portable since I use it out hiking most of the time, and I recognize that FF is going to be somewhat larger/heaver (especially lenses). The lack of IBIS is a little concerning, but with the IS in the lens I think it would still be okay for my purposes.
Thanks for any input on this!
