Canon EOS Rebel T5- Has my photo on the camera but not showing up on computer

Hi all, I took photos on my EOS Rebel T5 and went to transfer them to my Mac, but when I opened the SD card it only showed all my older photos and not the new ones I needed. I tried everything. I tried three different computers and two different adapting cords. Is this a SD card issue? Is there anyway to save these photos.

annaabeyta5,

Is it possible that your newer photos are in a different folder on your card than the one you are used to seeing?

Hi Steve,

I checked and it is not in any folder that is popping up.

Are you using a full sized SD card or a Micro SD with an adapter? Have you tried downloading directly from the SD card using a USB card reader or an SD card slot on a laptop?

Just a thought: write down the four digit file number from the camera and then use Spotlight on the Mac to search the SD card.
