Canon 5D Mrk II

Recently started having problems with my 5D first I gor ERR 70 message on he back LCD. Now the back buttons are not respoding, shutter is not responding plus top LCD does not show the # of images (its completely blank for the image #). Please respond if you had similar problems.

Ensure your battery is fully charged and in good condition.  Perform a camera reset, both main and custom settings.  Using special care, gently wipe the contact terminals on both the body and lens,  Last, test with another lens if possible.  

If you continue to receive the error, it might be time for a new body.  The 5D2 has been EOL for a long while now.

Error 70 is usually a lens issue. Are you using a Canon lens?  If not try a Canon lens and do not use the off brand lenses any more. Even if you are using a Canon lens try a different Canon lens.

Cleaning the contacts rarely to never helps. And, it is possible to do unrepairable damage if you do it incorrectly.
