Canon 1100D won't show manually shot photos when connected to my pc

I own the Canon 1100D, and so far I've taken photos in Landscape Mode. Recently, I take pictures using Manual Mode, and whenever I connect my camera to my pc, it won't show my photos unless I shot it using Landscape Mode. Even if I take 10 Manually shot pictures and then one photo using LS Mode, it will only show me that one photo. What can I do in this situation ?

Note: I'm not using the Protect Images feature.

Since you can see both the Landscape and Manual photos on the camera LCD and you feel they are properly exposed there is no reason they should both appear on the computer.

So, you need to give us as much specificity as possible about the computer setup. Windows or Mac. Which Windows 7, 8 or 10.

What software are you using to download the files from the camera via USB.

WHat software are you using to view the files.

For the "missing" images you can get the filename from the camera LCD. Try searching for that file name; from the example  use "-0032" and see if you can find them on computer.

So, you are viewing files in the camera via Windows Explorer without downloading files?

Are you absolutely sure that the Manual photos you see on camera but not in Windows aren't RAW files?

I never download the files, I just transfer them to my other folders. I'm sure they're not RAW because when I switched to Manual Mode, I changed nothing in the settings. Even if they are RAW files, my pc will show them just like any other file, I know it because I had a personal teacher and she used RAW files, and so my pc showed both RAW and non-RAW files.

I believe John is trying to better understand your issue by reproducing the circumstances that create it. So, on that note.....

What does, "I just transfer them" actually mean?  If you do not download them, then what is it that you are doing?  Help someone to help you.

I guess I do download the files, but nothing more. I'm trying to help as much as I can

Do you have a cell phone? Can you take and post a photo of the camera LCD that looks like the lower lefthand image I posted in message 19?

Can you take a screen shot or photo of the open computer folder that shows the landscape images but not the manual images?

On a Windows 7 machine, neither Windows Photo Viewer nor Internet Explorer will display Canon RAW (.CR2) files by default. One of them might if you installed the Canon RAW Codec, but a much more straightforward solution is to use the Canon software supplied with your camera. I don't know what software your "personal teacher" had available to her, and I'm starting to suspect that you don't either. What is pretty clear at this point is that the problem is not with your camera. You are almost certainly doing something wrong, and you seem to be standing in your own way of finding out what that is. I suppose that at this point you might as well call Canon, but I think you'll need to be able to explain to them what you've tried more clearly than you've been able to explain it to us.

Bob is correct. Do you have a camera club in your town where you could ask a member to help you? Or perhaps your library has a tech help night?

You need someone to phyically see what is happening.

Do you have a copy of the Instruction Manual?  It has instructions on how to download files and view them on a PC.

https://www.usa.canon.com/internet/portal/us/home/support/

Visit the above link, to find your camera's support page.  You have to type you camera's model number [Rebel t3] in the box followed by a space, and then click on a choice.  It doesn't matter which one, because the camera body is the same for all of the choices..

Once there, you can download manuals, firmware, and software for your camera.

I see that only Software and Firmware are available to download, and in these sections I see many downloadable programs. What do I need to download ?

I think Waddizzle was suggesting if you don't have the manual you can download it here:

What photo software do you have on your computer (and is it Mac or PC)?

In other words, what do you do with your photos after tey are on your computer; that may help us diagnose the issue.
