Can I use my Canon Rebel T7 to stream Facebook Live video when not at home?

I recently purchased a Canon Rebel T7. I work at a local non-profit and we do a lot of events out in public. Is there a way to use the Rebel T7 to stream live video to Facebook live versus using my iPhone XR? Is there a way to connect the camera to my phone and then to Facebook Live trhough the phone?

Does the Facebook app on your phone allow you to select a camera?  I know that it does not allow that option on my iPad.  I believe that you are locked into only using the camera that built into the phone.  This behavior would consistent with FaceTime.
