Can I take video and pictures at the same time without...?

Can I take a picture during video recording that will not result in a video pause/ freeze? I am using 5Dlll with CF and SD cards.

No, taking a photo during video will always cause a short pause, and you will also hear the shutter click on the video.

I was hoping there was a trick-way around to make it happen. I read in a blog that it was possible if I have two cards on the camera. Thanks for your help.
