5D Mark IV won't connect to Mac with Big Sur

Has anyone run into a problem with WIFI connect on a Mac with the operating system Big Sur? I have the latest upgrade software on my camera. I downloaded the latest EOS Utility for Big Sur. During the setup process where the actual connect to should happen, my computer does not pop up with the connect to window. My camera makes running noise but nothing happens.

Hello,

Press the Menu button.
Tap on the wrench and then sub menu 4.
Tap on Communication Settings.
Tap on Built-In Wireless Settings.
Select the function you’d like to perform with the connection.
Enter your network password, then push the Menu button.
Select Auto Setting > OK.

Thanks,

The built-in Wi-Fi feature works best with mobile devices.  It works very well for control of remote shooting with a computer or a mobile device.  The wireless range is very limited.  The camera is not fully networkable.  File transfers over Wi-Fi is much slower than using USB or a card reader.

The camera and computer need to connect to the same router or WAP, wireless access point.  Make sure that security features in your WAP are not blocking new connections with a restricted access list or something similar.  Sometimes a firewall in the computer can block the connection, too.
