what to do with nonfunctional EF 24-70mm f/2.8 L

Is it worth selling for parts? If so how much and is this something people buy (ebay?)? I got it second hand several years ago so no warrenty and no ability to return at this point. I'd like to recoup some amount of money on it even if it's just a fraction. I'm assuming a repair would be more expensive than it is worth at this point. TIA for any advice.

You can check that yourself by looking on eBay.

Keeping it you have nothing, so selling it for any amount you have more.

Repair may not be an option but a check with Canon, 1 (800) 652-2666, will confirm that. They do make a rather nice coffee mug!
