This is a Canon forum but here goes, the adapter screwed up the focal plane. You will probably have to be very close to focus on anything.

At f/1.2 your focus will be a very narrow plane. Is there *anything* in focus?

If you are using f/1.2, then you dealing with a VERY narrow Depth-Of-Field. It can get extremely narrow.

You can try to take the lens to a camera shop, and have them test it. I'd bet that the lens is working properly.

Adapters are for fun, or marketing. It is almost always the case that it will degrade lens performance.
